One of my floor textures has a small shiny spot on it which repeats when used on a floor. Is there any way I can get rid of this problem in gimp or photoshop?

Can ou post your file ?

Perhaps your shader ?

@Cassius :

You should learn how to do it yourself, you could need to redo it some day.

Do you use some specular map ?

Just og in Gimp2 or another and paint black color in specular map where you want to remove teh shining specular effect.

Stop toying and make games
