Here is the good settings when exporting from Blender to FBX.

You can change some parameters at export like Scale and Forward (direction facing) for example.

Include Animation and All ACtions are the only two to check if you want complete lenght animation track imported on Blender

It depends on model some times add more animation option at export or animatiosn could not export.

It's up to you to try other options if first failed.

Do you bake IK animations to FK before exporting ?

System:

Linux Mint 17 ( = Ubuntu 14.04 with cinnamon desktop ) Ubuntu 14.04, AMD HD 6850, i5 2500k

I use IK on bones when animating to help make better and faster animations.

It remains skeletal animation with standard bones as you store keyframes with LocRotScale.

Nothing to bake.

What do you mean by IK ?

IK = inverse kinematics - bones are "automagically" rotated/moved based on rules & constraints you set up

FK = Forward kinematics - each bone is manually rotated/moved

The idea of baking IK to FK is that the engine may not understand the rules & constraints you set up in IK.

Yes BLender standard IK.

No problem as you store keyframes, it remains bones animation.

I just tested some FBX export , and no problem for LE3.
