MetalOS Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I just tested the VR mode and I encounter a lot of distortion as if the headset was equipped with a fisheye lens. I haven't found anything in the documentation that would change this behavior. Quote
Josh Posted April 5 Posted April 5 The system should detect the correct projection matrix for the headset you are using. What headset is it? When you say "equipped with a fish eye lens" is this some kind of modification or add-on, or just the standard configuration? MetalOS Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 I'm using a Meta Quest 3 and using the VR example that comes with Leadwerks 5. Quote
Josh Posted April 5 Posted April 5 It looks slightly off, or is it very very wrong? Can you describe what you are seeing? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
MetalOS Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 The image is stretched as if I had magnifying glasses in front of my eyes. Quote
Josh Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I am sorry to hear that. I will check and see if there is an update for OpenVR and whether there are any known issues with the Meta Quest 3. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
MetalOS Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 Thanks, I'll see if I can make a video to show the problem. 1 Quote
MetalOS Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Sorry for the quality of the video, I can't get any better, but we can see the distortion of the image. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mv8XKzEZ0cs Quote
