I am helping someone build their first PC, and the motherboard they chose was an MSI 520M-Pro, which is incompatible with their CPU, an AMD 4500. No problem, I got my hands on an AMD 3100 but after installing it the white CPU light is still coming on, and I am giving up on it and getting a new mobo.

I've got my eye on an ASRock B450M/AC R2.0:

Before I order this, can you confirm the motherboard and CPU are in fact compatible out of the box? This page seems to confirm that they are compatible, but I don't want any more screwups:

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
