Rick Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I bought a model of a character that has about 8 different materials to it. In LE2 as long as the material files the model was expecting were in the directory this all worked. In LE3 when I import the model and a material, then place an instance of the model in the scene, and drag the material over what should be the correct part of the model, it applies the material to the entire model. How can I use this model in Leadwerks 3? Quote
Josh Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Do this in the model editor, and it will just apply the material to the picked surface. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Rick Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 I didn't know you could do that in the model editor. Learn something new every day. Very nice! 1 Quote
Josh Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Leadwerks: Yes, we thought of that. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
shadmar Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 That's a neat feature, any other easter eggs? 1 Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
L B Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Looked for a while as well. Is there a way to see which surfaces are available in the model editor? Quote
