tipforeveryone Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 I go this when run the animation benchmark of UltraEngine2023, it is ok with UltraEngine (not 2023) Is this a false alarm or it is dangerous ? Quote
Josh Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Apparently Avast does this to Autodesk too: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/avast-antivirus-going-nuts-about-quot-evo-gen-quot/td-p/8286866 I did a scan of the EXE (it's the 2023 build) with Microsoft Defender and it did not detect anything. tipforeveryone Posted October 31, 2023 Author Posted October 31, 2023 Yep I do some research and this it is kind of false positive. btw is there any demo version for UltraEngine instead of buying it in the future ? Im gonna buy it soon but need some demo for what of it cabilities Quote
dschiller Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 It also seems because of no valid Publisher is used the Defender SmartScreen marks the `UltraClient.exe` as maleware: Maybe some signing and/or notarisation is missing. Quote
