YouGroove Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Well for now it is a pain to import 3D objects could it be with adn little tool or the model editor. The object is perhaps too heavy, and i see nothing in the model viewer, here is a way to move / zoom camera ? With the other tool , the textures are not applied ? Does anyone know a simple working solution ? Well i hope LE 3 to bring simple and more complete system to import models and textures. Quote Stop toying and make games
cassius Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Could someone explain this thread to me? I Is it about importing obj files? if so surely you convert them to gmf. Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
gamecreator Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Have you tried obj2gmf in the Tools folder? If so, what happens with that? Also, what modeling program do you use? Quote
Pixel Perfect Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 That should work but personally I'd recommend UU3D as the way to go, fantastic value for money. Not everyone in the world can buy it though, depends on what country you live in due to Brad's somewhat unusual sales restrictions! 1 Quote Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz, Asus P7P55D, 8Gb DDR3 RAM, GTX460 1Gb DDR5, Windows 7 (x64), LE Editor, GMax, 3DWS, UU3D Pro, Texture Maker Pro, Shader Map Pro. macklebee Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 adn is just a material editor and the modelviewer, like its name describes, just allows you to view a model... so I really don't understand the question being posed here? ChrisV Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 The ADN material editor only loads .gmf files (which works as expected ), as far as I know. UU3D is indeed worth it's price, very useful program for uv mapping, etc... Quote My Artwork. wayneg Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 UU3D is great, unless you will be rotating parts like blades on your windmill ! Quote
