Pixel Perfect Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 No terrain in the first release but then it's planned to have streaming terrains eventually from my understanding. Not sure about multiple terrains but then streaming terrains may remove your need for that ...not sure you didn't say why you wanted multiple terrain support. Canardia Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Why don't people just forget about terrains. You can do much better terrains with not much more effore in Sculptris, and they are real 3D and you can have as many as you want, and as many textures as you want. Josh Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 We are planning on a streaming terrain system, so you don't need to worry about aligning several terrains, or how much space they cover. The terrain will just exist, everywhere you go. 3 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

E.g. for a non realistic game... would I be able to use the in built terrain system or would I have to make individual square terrains as objects and implement my own LOD? Quote
