how are you lining up the gutter/line numbers versus the textarea in the current script editor? it seems to be working correctly... or is that something inherent from using scintilla or something like it?

It's using Scintilla, but it crashes on Windows XP and there is no OSX implementation I know of. If you download Scintilla their OSX project doesn't build an app (and it's a bloated mess of Objective C).

 

I'm about ready to give up on this.

it seems you would need some event ID from the inherent scroll of the textarea... but i do not see any event action/ID/status for for that...

maybe using a scrollpanel from the proxy gadgets might help?

just for your information. I have succesfully build a static module (no dll needed anymore) with the latest source of scintilla. I just need to get access to a mac to get the mac part working. Hopefully i can get it.
