Rick Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 http://www.thegamecr...product&id=2037 Does anyone have this? It looks like from the pictures that it would come with hands and animations and such but when I'm looking through the entitybank/Model Pack 9 all the .x files seem to just be models with no animations. There seems to be models like M4A1_onside.X which is the model just laying on it's side, which is great for world models but I guess I was expecting first person view models with hands and reload/shoot animations. What am I missing or was I expecting the wrong thing with this model pack? I swear I looked at this pack some time ago and had animations for weapons. Thanks Quote
tournamentdan Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I swear i have seen somebody use this in a video a while ago. I can not find the video any more. If I remember right someone was showing bullet physics and they were using this pack. I think they had animations but I can not quite remember. Quote
Andr3wHur5t Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I believe the animated ones are in a different folder, if my memory serves me right they are in the game core folder. Rick Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 Perfect thank you so much! Didn't even see that folder Quote
Manuel Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I have problems with the animations, the bones are not correctly when I import in UU3D to export. Quote
Marleys Ghost Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Some of the TGC models packs can be problematic with direct import into UU3D, you may have to try other routes like Fragmotion to UU3D or try the Mender app, or even write a small converter to dbo format in DBpro, before getting some .x format models from TGC into UU3D. Rick Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 @Manuel I used Fragmotion and it worked really well so I would recommend that. You can easily flip the model in there also as some of the FPS weapons were left handed. Quote
Marleys Ghost Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 There are some TGC models/packs that even fragmotion will struggle with. Manuel Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I have tried with Fragmotion and yes, I can import/export more guns with correct animation, but not all the guns like says Marleys. I try many method, create a X to dbo export (I have one in DarkBasic Pro Cd), but it do not export the animation, also I tried to import the X file to the Blender, but I can't, Blender crash everytime, I tried to move the bones into the UU3D, etc, nothing works for me, it's sad because that model pack has good weapons.
