Road Kill Kenny Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I use CamStudio and it is 100% free. Tho it is pretty crappy. But I haven't found a better free one yet. Josh Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I always found CamStudio to be very slow. I've always had the best results with FRAPS, it seems to be the only one made to capture at a fast rate. AggrorJorn Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I have both fraps and camtasia. for tutorials, camtasia is okay. But when you want to record with high quality, fraps is the answer. Quote
Road Kill Kenny Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 FRAPS is way better than Camstudio no doubt. It is made for this kinda thing. I would highly recommend getting it. I highly recommend myself to get it when Im not buying model packs n such hehe. Quote STS - Scarlet Thread Studios AKA: Engineer Ken Fact: Game Development is hard... very bloody hard.. AggrorJorn Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Recent update from Camtasia allows better ingam capturing. Its support has increased and I have to say that it works quite well. Maybe not as well as fraps but good enough. Quote
