dennis Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hello all, I have a problem with a texture scale, in my AC3D editor all the textures are correct in size. but when I export them to obj and convert them to .GMF and view in the model viewer, the textures won't match anymore. and are the wrong scale. I attached a screenshot. of what I mean. also, when everything is working fine I will share this corridor with different textures. ps. sorry for my English, needed to do fast because of a important meeting cheers Quote
klepto2 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I don't know AC3D, but it looks as you set the texture scale in it. Leadwerks, doesn't handle texturescales, instead you need to to adjust the UV coords of your model to match the desired look. Quote Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit-Version NVIDIA Geforce 1080 TI

I already did that but it doesn't work. it gives the same effect, that is the whole problem Quote
Josh Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I would try the AC3D forums. The GMF loader just loads whatever texture coordinates are in the file. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

dennis Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 I never had a problem like this using ac3d. what am I doing wrong then? or more easy to ask. how to do it the right way? Quote
cassius Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I just put the texture on the model and use tools\uv map. Looks the same in the editor, but I only use ac3d for models, not levels. Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++

dennis Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 Fixed! I needed to export to .x for some strange reason it will work like that way. Quote
