Hi,

I would like to trigger events with Midi device inside LE, I'm ok with LUA but not C++/C#...

Anyone have an idea to follow or a bit of time to help me ?

Thanks,

Ben

That's an interesting one.

I'm not sure how you'd get input from a Midi device unless you can program it to send keystrokes that could read in your LUA script.

Only program I know of that can turn MIDI keys to keystrokes is MIDI2KEY written to play music inside the Lord of the Rings Online game. A link to the source is here... Lotro Forum Link - MIDI2KEY

There are certainly plenty of midi libraries available in C/C++ including wrappers for the Microsoft MIDI API. A quick google of 'midi lib lua' revealed a few indications of libraries too! You might want to investigate these to see if anything is suitable.

Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz, Asus P7P55D, 8Gb DDR3 RAM, GTX460 1Gb DDR5, Windows 7 (x64), LE Editor, GMax, 3DWS, UU3D Pro, Texture Maker Pro, Shader Map Pro. Development language: C/C++
