Ywa Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi everyone, I'm having issues when I try to export this simple 3DW file to Leadwerks. ( http://bbqfiles.com/u/bowling_972f.3dw ) I've tried several ways and I get hidden models, not working physics models etc. etc. I even tried to use UU3D. So what's the proper way to export a 3DW model/scene like the one I linked to, to Leadwerks? Thanks in advance. - Ywa Quote
Canardia Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Export as gmf from 3DWS. Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■
Ywa Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 But that doesn't give me a physics file. I believe the GMF to PHY tool got lost in the forums 'reset'. Quote
cassius Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Are you designing your buildings in 3dws and placing your models in those buildings in the le editor.? If so then there should be no problem , Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
Canardia Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 You don't need phygen for static 3DWS models. Just delete the old phy file and Editor creates a new one. Ywa Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 I will give it a try when I'm back home @ Lumooja. I wasn't using the editor so that's why I didn't come across that solution. Thanks. Quote
Eagle Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 How can you export to .gmf from world studio? It will only export to .b3d,.dbo,.txt,.fy,.map,.wmp and .x. Are you guys using a different version or something? I would love to be able to export to the native Leadwerks format. Always~ Quote
