Canardia Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 There is no hardcoded restriction or style of games or apps you can do with LE. Pixel Perfect Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Hi Andrew, most people seem to go with third party networking libraries. RakNet appears to be the one most commonly recommended. The rest is down to you! There are quite a few people designing networked games so I'm sure if you have any specific questions they will be happy to help. AggrorJorn Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Leadwerks is a good engine which lets you choose whatever third party libraries you want. This can resolve in a little more work but on the other hand you have all the freedom you want to create just the game you want. Quote
L B Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Hi Andrew, First, I hate you for making me lose the game. Second, your display picture is great. Third, there is no official support for networking, but all games are feasible with Leadwerks. Quote

Ending Credits Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The networking command set can be found here: http://www.leadwerks.com/wiki/index.php?title=Networking Last time I tried Networking I couldn't get anything to work. Have there been any updates to the networking in 2.23 recently?
