cocopino Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Hi, A projectile with mass=1 is traveling from origin vec3(0,0,0) with velocity vec3(a,b,c) Does anybody know the formula to calculate where (point in 3D space) it will hit the ground (meaning y equals 0)? Assuming there's no air resistance and we're on earth (g=9.8) Thanks! Quote desktop: Quad core Q6600 + 4GB + ATI HD4890 + XP laptop: Dual core T6400 + 4 GB + NVidia 9600M GT + Vista 32

cocopino Posted July 24, 2010 Author Posted July 24, 2010 Thanks, the "Where will it land?" formula looks exactly like what I need. Quote desktop: Quad core Q6600 + 4GB + ATI HD4890 + XP laptop: Dual core T6400 + 4 GB + NVidia 9600M GT + Vista 32
