Marcus Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I know this isn't the most critical thing, but I would love to edit the tab length to the more standard of 4 spaces per tab instead of the current 8. How hard would this be to add to the options menu in the Script Editor? I know it isn't the highest priority thing, but it would be great if it was a pretty simple fix. Quote
ZioRed Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 This option is pretty a standard in any kind of text editor and I agree it, this post should be moved into Feature Requests Quote ?? FRANCESCO CROCETTI ?? http://skaredcreations.com
Canardia Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 The tab is 8 spaces only when using a monospaced font. If you use a proportional font like Verdana, you get much more suitable tabs: But you are right, for monospaced fonts the global standard is 4 spaces, that's also what Visual Studio uses, and it aligns nicely in many situations to make the code more readable.
