Jules D. Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 3D Text would be cool. Select Font Entity = Draw3DText "Leadwerks",position.x,position.y,position.z Then you can manipulate it as a Entity, color,scale,rotate,move... SetEntitytcolor Entity,Vec3(red,green,blue) Color, would replace any entity's mat file with color specified. A mat file can be applied as well. Canardia Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 You can create 3D letters with UU3D from any font. Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■
Jules D. Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 I didn't know that, but it would be nice if it was in leadwerks, then a 3D GUI system could be made. Quote Intel Quad 9300 2.5 Windows 7 64 bit nforce 780i SLI MotherBoard Sapphire, Ati Radeon HD 5770 8 GRam
Canardia Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 You don't necessarily need 3D letters for a 3D GUI. You can also draw a normal 2D letters on a 3D entity.
