workshop assets not showing

How do I download items from the workshop? On the workshop page it says "Subscribe to an item and it will appear in the Leadwerks Editor." But when I reload leadwerks nothing is there and i dont see a workshop folder under assets like in some youtube videos. Also, when I click in the editor on workshop > browse workshop. nothing installs. it hangs on installing. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.
