gordonramp Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 When I use a spotlight in a room, I get this unwanted horizontal striping effect. I've played with the settings but am unable to eliminate it. Any ideas on how to? Quote AMD Athlon x2 7750 2.7ghz, 6gb ddr2 ram, Galaxy9800GT 1gig ddr2 video card, Windows 7,64.

gordonramp Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Resolution doesn't seem to alter it. I've tried from 256 up to 2048. I know it's only with the spotlight because a point light doesn't produce the same effect. Quote AMD Athlon x2 7750 2.7ghz, 6gb ddr2 ram, Galaxy9800GT 1gig ddr2 video card, Windows 7,64.
AndyGFX Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 - try change Linear offset and Multiplicative offset properties on light, - or change light position - or change light to static shadow Quote [HW] C2D Q6600, 4GB RAM, NV8800GTX, Vista Ultimate x64 [sW] Blide Plus, BlitzMax, Delphi, C++, 3DWS 5.53, Leadwerks 2.xx
gordonramp Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Thanks Andy.. 'Change to Static Shadow' was the one. Quote AMD Athlon x2 7750 2.7ghz, 6gb ddr2 ram, Galaxy9800GT 1gig ddr2 video card, Windows 7,64.
