kysg Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Was checking out this engine. Just had a few questions. Is it easy to get an FPS going in lua? or should it just be C++. I would just be starting it from scratch. Has PBR been implemented? I wanted to see where that was at. Quote
Thirsty Panther Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Lua is fine for FPS. PBR, some Leadwerkers have implemented their own version. Environmental probes give a similar effect. Quote
kysg Posted December 6, 2016 Author Posted December 6, 2016 thx Are there any tutorials on forums by chance Lua? Besides the basic one since I figured it was gonna be awhile to get my head wrapped around lua. Quote
Thirsty Panther Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Official tutorials are a good place to start. Teaches the editor and Lua and the marble tutorial takes you through making a game. Aggrors on YouTube. Getting a little old now put shows you lots of different techniques. Lua Org. All things Lua. The forum here can be a great resource as well. It can be difficult to search especially if your looking for multiple words. In which case you are better off using Google and add Leadwerks in the search. Quote
