[solved] vegetation beta, collision isn't working

does anyone know why my trees won't have physics?

Because you don't want anything to collide into them?

but the problem is that I just walk right through them haha. that isn't good either, how can I fix this?

I don't bother withphysics on trees, yu can walk tru my trees anytime butyou could use polymesh, unless the new vecetation prevents this.

Did you see the flag in the veg layer for collision on that layer?

If you open it in the model editor and click View->Show Physics, do you se a collion mesh?, if not just make one and save it.

Either way this will be a guessing game unless you provide the tree for us to look at.

yes I did but it doesn't seem to work for me.

I was able to collide with the vegetation layer when i had all the materials assigned. As for the individual model, I had to remove the bone in the fbx that was attached via UU3D to get it to save properly with its own collision shape in the mdl.

added physics in the model editor, tried to hit the collision flag and tried to edit the tree inside uu3d. neither of it worked

What mack says works for me too. You are missing a trunk material, but collisions works fine to mee to when using macklebees method. I used a cyclinder as collsionmesh.

got it working now too. did a clean boot after 3 weeks and it runs like a charm now. thanks guys!
