It appears to work for me. We might have to see your script to determine what the problem could be.

camera = Camera:Create()

camera:Move(0,0,-3)

 

sprite = Sprite:Create()

local material = Material:Load("Materials/Effects/tracer.mat")

sprite:SetMaterial(material)

sprite:SetSize(0.25,5.25)

 

while window:KeyDown(Key.Escape)==false do

if window:KeyHit(Key.Space)==true then sprite:Release() end

 

Time:Update()

world:Update()
