cassius Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Any other skyboxes around for le3. Had a good choice with le2 but they don't work with le 3 and I don't know how to convert them. Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
gamecreator Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I can't find the thread now but yes, you can make your own. LE3 takes both the cross pattern (like here) or a 3x2 grid, I think. You simply use the editor to set the texture as a Skybox (I forget if it's the Material Editor or the Texture Editor). Quote
Josh Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 6x1 not 3x2, actually. Make sure you download PNG or BMP. JPG compression will ruin the seams. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Thirsty Panther Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Nice link Wolf. How do I get these to work in Leadwerks? I know I need to create a cubemap with the images. Is there an easy way to do this? I've search these forums with no luck and google just gives me unity and photoshop examples. Cheers. Quote
gamecreator Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 You would need to assemble them in Photoshop or a similar program into a single image, either in the cross shape I linked above or 6 images side by side. I noticed that the first two links I tried only provided 5 of the 6 sides, however. Quote
shadmar Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 ImageMagick (works on all platforms) can assemble 6x1 for you like this : montage -geometry 512 -tile 6x1 1.tga 2.tga 3.tga 4.tga 5.tga 6.tga out.tga 4 Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
