Thirsty Panther Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I assume you are trying to import a 3DS file into your project? Leadwerks will only accept FBX files. Quote
awgsknite Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Nope nope I'm using all assets from the workshop and I have the weapons addon that I bought on steam. There was no warning or alarm as i made my game and when i went to publish i get all this about some .max cant be used ! Quote http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197977392956/7977392956/
Thirsty Panther Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Interesting. Maybe there is a stray max file in the workshop models. Do you load the models using scripts or drag and drop into the editor? If you are using scripts, check for max files. Maybe someone smarter than me has some other ideas. Quote
awgsknite Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Thanks I'll have to check out those scripts then. I load models by drag and drop into the editor Quote http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197977392956/7977392956/
Thirsty Panther Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 If you drag and drop the editor will stop you importing a max file type as it only accepts FBX. So check your scripts to see what they are loading. If you can't find the problem report this in the bug report thread. Good luck. Quote
awgsknite Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 I found out it was the crawler model character (monster in the AI examples) named generic.max It was in my prefab folder Quote http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197977392956/7977392956/
