DerRidda Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 a = true If you are using Lua. Yay for duck typing! I'm quite surprised by this request. What made you think Boolean wasn't in Leadwerks? Quote
AggrorJorn Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I think Guppy is Joking (as a matter of fact I am not sure who is and isn't joking at this point) but OP is asking for boolean CSG operations. 3 Quote
james1943 Posted September 6, 2014 Author Posted September 6, 2014 because I use it in unity and makes building rooms and corridors easy I also like lua I know there are csgs in leadwerks it would be more easy with Boolean don't be so surprised I have been around computers since the early eighties Quote
Josh Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Yes, carving is great. I agree this is important. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Guppy Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I was indeed attempting humor ( trying to indicate that through the use of smilies ) since the OP asked for "boolean" rather than "boolean operations" Quote System: Linux Mint 17 ( = Ubuntu 14.04 with cinnamon desktop ) Ubuntu 14.04, AMD HD 6850, i5 2500k
DerRidda Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Ooops, sorry, but without further clarification I would assume Boolean refers to the data type 105/100 times. But in this specific case I agree, it's one of the many features Leadwerks should have for working with CSGs. At the moment I feel I would always have to use an external tool for all 3D design and Leadwerks is there to puzzle it together and for Lua coding. Quote
josk Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 What I liked about UnrealEd years ago was carving out rooms, nice quick and simple. 1 Quote Elite Cobra Squad
