how to set ambient light??

how can I set ambient light for my level??

 

 

is ambient light set for a specific level or is there a way that it can be set for every level?? and how can i apply it=???

 

 

I'm ask fo that due I'm doing a very dark horror level test but I noticed ambient light is too high

It can be set in the Root properties in the scene browser:

 

or by using the command World::SetAmbientLight()

As a side note: Changing the ambient light in the editor is not that ideal since it makes it difficult to edit your level.

 

It is easier to make a script where you can specify the ambient. During edit time, you can have a bright scene and ingame you set the ambient provided in the script.

If you're having trouble seeing in the level, you can switch to wire or solid view mode.

I also found the script macklebee linked to me but how can I use it??

 

 

i created the script (simply copy paste LOL) but after that I dont know where I must to apply it..
