Steam Client Bootstrapper is not responding when I try to start Leadwerks. Any Ideas?

hi Draque! I solved as follows:

 

-Open de Steam Client.

- Click in View Menu

- click in Small Mode.

How long is it going to take to fix this problem?

Ask Steam, as it's their problem to fix. One of their previous patches seemed to have fixed it but the next one broke it again. I'm hoping Josh told his Steam contact this as that may be an easier way of figuring out what helped and what didn't.

Steam probably doesnt prioritize this issue since it only covers Leadwerks. Thats is why it is taking so long.

I sent the new info to my contact at Valve. It seems the Workshop entries on the page are causing this.

This issue seems fixed in the latest Steam client beta.

It is for me under Linux, so please try that out and report here.

As of August 25, at 4:50 P.M. PST, this problem appears to be fixed in the beta Steam client on Linux and Windows.

Still broken for for me just tested it and still crashes (In Beta)

 

EDIT: Reinstalled Steam and is now working

Just to be 100% clear: We are talking about the Steam client beta here which you can opt-into under Settings>Account.

If you did that make sure Steam has actually updated to the latest build, by manually searching for client updates under Steam>Check for client updates..
