lua script gun error

When I add my auto pistol to my fps player I get a script error when I launch my game after I built my map terrain etc, sorry im new to programming and developing game's hope you guys can help, im running on windows 7 with amd a10 5750m 2.50ghz + turbo 3.50ghz ram 8gb 1600mhz graphics card amd/ati 8650g 1gb

edit - I looked at the script and that line should actually look like this -

local speed = math.max(0.1,self.player.entity:GetVelocity():xz():Length())

okay I tried that and I got a new error, sorry never done programming in lua

Sorry I gave you the wrong information initially. Look back at my first post, I edited it with the correct info.

I now get script error unexpected symbol near ')' line 269 I did what you said I tried to upload pic says error this upload failed ._. was only 657 kb

 

I fixed it thanks I found out my issue im sorry I've never done lua programming I study a little c++ visual studios 2010 sorry and thanks for you help man

SilentBang, I am curious about how you attached your images. Where did you upload it to?

If you click on More Reply Options at the bottom, you have the option to attach files on the next page. You can also use common image hosts like http://postimage.org/.

well to screen shot pics I use jing, then I just did what gamecreator^^ said, pretty easy to figure.

just with lua not leadwerks had error with auto pistol and fps player I fixed it
