Hemispherical SDF AO in LE.



Realtime rendering, I need to work on the lighting areas on sharp surfaces, I think scattering of some sort will do the trick.

Is this Ultra or LE4 ? How much FPS can you reach with this? I always encounter FPS problems bei trying to make such fullfilled jungles landscape, especially on bigger maps. Looks very nice.

le4 - 4K MAP, but most all the shaders have been edited, optimized and or redone for this project. Here's my first attempt at sharp edges light scatter... needs some more work, but on the way.

Incredible...

I observed most of performances Issues were caused by the model shapes becoming too heavy.

I would not have think shaders are not optimized...

So you mean with the original LE4 shaders could this scene not be rendered?

LE shaders are optimized..   I was speaking in terms as optimized for a specific purpose, as in the purpose of my project.  LE's default shades are fine, just general purpose.

Coding a game is only half the project,  optimizing and setting up the maps is the other 50%. :)

If you can cover only half the map with this density of models with shapes ..... Please make a tuto ! :lol:
