The model was made in a Mid-poly workflow, which handles shading by averaged geometry normals, instead of normal mapping and is easy to optimize by removing divisions, while maintaining the same mesh topology. It requires more polygons, however it’s resistant to normal map compression (it doesn’t need one, or a flat-shaded one is used), also producing smooth reflections if done properly.
