Crytek Planning a Free CryEngine Release? ...

It seems Crytek maybe planning a free CryEngine release.

"The developer behind Crysis 2 and the engine behind it, CryEngine 3, has plans to release a free version of their game engine that will be "up to speed" with CryEngine 3. This should help Crytek to further compete with Epic Games and Unity, both of which offer free versions of their respective game engines, Unreal Engine 3 and Unity. "

I suppose it was only a matter of time considering the route both Unity3D and Epic have taken. But will be worth keeping an eye on.

Well correct me if i'm wrong, but the UDK, and Unity are scripting only ?

I like Leadwerk's, for the multi language support, and in my opinion, it's the best.

I played a lot with UDK and i also saw Unity and other Professional engine, Unity a part, the main difference from professional engine to Leadwerks is the easy way to use it.

Leadwerks (and i must Unity too) is really easy and you could create a game even alone.

This isn't the same as for other engine i saw.

P.s.

UDK use his own script, unity use c#,UnityScript/Javascript.
